Unfortunately, trees are sometimes mistreated due to a lack of professionalism during planting, pruning, and other arboricultural practices. At Tree Care Hong Kong (TCHK), we believe that international cooperation between people who work with trees—whether in private or public sectors—is essential for developing a better knowledge of growing and maintaining them.

About the European Arboricultural Council (EAC) The European Arboricultural Council (EAC) is a professional forum where delegates from various arboricultural organizations throughout Europe meet. Their primary object is to elevate the status and advance the profession by liaising on matters ranging from research and education to successful tree establishment and the improvement of working practices.

These collaborative efforts will ultimately lead to healthier and longer-living trees in towns, parks, gardens, or anywhere trees are grown to beautify our environment. The EAC also plays a crucial role in putting the necessary pressure on appropriate governing institutions and individuals to ensure high standards of tree care.

TCHK’s International Alignment Since our establishment in 2007, TCHK has actively allied with international tree care organizations. By looking to the standards and practices set by authoritative bodies like the EAC, we will continue to provide top-tier, QF-recognized professional training to practitioners in Hong Kong, safeguarding our urban forest and fulfilling our social responsibility through education.
